Another sketch I did, and then watercolored; deeply inspired by Otto Dix. Class assignment.

This man is one of the great, forgotten artists of an era long gone by. He is one of the several German artists of his time responsible for putting the expression in the word "Expressionist". If you call yourself an artist, or even if you aspire to be such, then you should get to know this man, and his work; especially if you're into Expressionist art. If you claim to be an art history buff, or simply strive to know your art history, you know nothing until you know the story of Otto Dix.
